Wood, Zachary Taylor, 1860-1915 : Zachary Taylor Wood, born in 1860 in Nova Scotia, graduated from the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ont., in 1882. He joined the North West Mounted Police in 1885 and served in the Yukon from 1897. He was Assistant Commissioner of the Yukon, 1902-1915.
