Fonds consists of an autobiography and memoirs of Matthew Kvasniowskyj, a soldier in the Army of the Ukrainian National Republic; statistics on Ukrainian Canadians compiled from census records; publications concerning the Ukrainian community in Canada and Ukrainian history; announcement of events in the Ukrainian community, Ukrainian greeting cards; and wall calendars on Ukrainian themes.

Seleshko, Mykhailo, 1901-1981 : Mykhailo Seleshko was born in Vytvytsia, Ukraine. During World War I, he served in the armies of the Ukrainian National Republic. After the war, he graduated in journalism from the University of Berlin and became a journalist. Involved with Ukrainian nationalists in Europe, he held various positions in their organizations during the 1930's and 1940's. Following World War II, Seleshko immigrated to Canada and has been active in the Ukrainian Canadian community, chiefly as secretary of the Ukrainian War Veteran's Association of Canada, and as an organizer in the Ukrainian Canadian credit union movement.
