Constantine, Charles, ca. 1849-1912 : Charles Constantine, born in England ca. 1849, was educated at Lennoxville, Canada East. He came west with the Wolsley expedition. He served with the Red River Force from 1870 until 1874, the Manitoba Provincial Police and the North-West Field Force, 1885. Subsequently he joined the North West Mounted Police as an inspector and later became Superintendent of various divisions in the Yukon and the Northwest Territories until his death.
