Armstrong, Hugh, 1943- : Hugh Armstrong was President of the Ontario region of the Canadian Union of students and then National President in the period 1966-1968. He has published the Theory of Social Classes in Marx 1970 and the book The Double Ghetto: Canadian Women and their Segregated Work, 1978, which he co-authored with his wife Pat Armstrong. He has been Professor of Sociology and Humanities at Vanier College in Montreal since 1979.
