Fonds consists of a biographical account of Lieutenant-General Sir Andrew Pilkington (1767-1853), who saw service in Nova Scotia from 1809 to 1815. During this time, he commanded several expeditions to Passamaquoddy Bay. The memoir was prepared from letters and memoranda owned by Mrs. Hayley. Included is a genealogical chart of the Pilkington family.
