Item is a travel journal of trip from Iona, Elgin County, Ont. to Nova Scotia taken by Angus Paterson between 1873 and 1874. In the journal Paterson refers to a discussion of Darwinian theory with a fellow traveler on 10 September 1873. The journal includes an account of income received 1873-1876, 1887 and an inventory of farm implements, 1881. Some pages in the original journal were blank and have not been photocopied.
