Fonds consists of programmes for three Post-Armistice Christmas parties held in Brussels. One party was given by the City of Brussels, one by the 4th Canadian Division and one by the 3rd Canadian Divisional Ammunition Column, 1918.

The fonds also contains photographs of officers of the 10th Brigade, 3rd Division, C.E.F., Witley, England, June 1916; and officers of the Canadian Field Artillery, Whitley, England, January 1917.

Chown, Bruce, 1893- : Bruce Chown, born in 1893 at Winnipeg, Man., received his B.A. in 1914 from McGill University, before he enlisted in 1915 in the 3rd Canadian Divisional Ammunition Column. He served as a Lieutenant for the entire war. After the war he resumed his university studies and graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1922 with his M.D. He practised in Winnipeg specializing in pediatrics, and from 1925 was associated with the University of Manitoba.
