Fonds consists of a letter written to Miss Dora Bradley from Russell (Bradley?), original 1917, 2 pages. Correspondence from Nicholas Bradley to his sister and various friends, describing training and billeting of troops, morale, social life, impressions of England, attitude of civilians to soldiers, Canadian problems, and family matters; 1916-1919; booklets ca. 1919 entitled, The Story of the Fourth Canadian Division by Major C.B. Lindsay, and Welcome Home, by the Canadian Chaplain Service; diary containing very brief entries from Bradley's scrapbook, containing photographs of training in England, photocopy, ca. 1916-1919, 3 cm.

Bradley, Nicholas Garland, 1896-1974 : Nicholas Garland Bradley was born in 1896 in Russell County, Ont. He enlisted in the 10th Battalion, Canadian Engineers in November 1915. Sapper Bradley served in England and France, and was discharged in 1919. He served in World War II, with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps as a Corporal, from 1940 to 1945, in the United Kingdom and in Europe.
