Item consists of a transcript of an interview between Salamon Pritchard, a Métis man, and R.C.M.P. Inspector B.C. Sawyer, 1 March 1967, concerning the Frog Lake Massacre of 1885. Also included is a clipping from the Regina Leader Post, 1 February 1967, about Salamon Pritchard.

Pritchard, Salamon, 1862-1967 : Salamon Pritchard, a Métis in the service of the Hudson's Bay Company, was taken prisoner by Wondering Spirit's band of Cree during the Frog Lake Massacre of 1885.

He was the son of John Pritchard and Rose Delorme. He married Rosalie Trottier on 13 July 1890 in Battleford, Saskatchewan and died 11 October 1967 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan at the age of 105.
