Fonds consists of "A Chip from A Chemical Odyssey", a manuscript by R.A. Pacaud which gives an account of some of the work of Dr. James H. Ross and Dr. J.R. Donald in the post World War II chemical industry in Canada, and concentrates on the production of salt at Lindbergh, Alta. and caustic soda at Duvernay, Alta., with particular attention to the acquisition of suitable equipment and other technical problems, 14 pages; and the revision of the manuscript containing an additional page (9A) which details the specifications for a natural gas pipeline from Alberta to Winnipeg, 1981.

Pacaud, Robert A, 1914- : R.A. Pacaud graduated from McGill University as a chemical engineer in 1937. He spent part of his engineering career with the firm of Donald, Ross and Co.
