Fonds consists of microfilmed personal files, 1968 to 1977, relating to his association with B'nai Brith Canada, the Anti-Defamation League, the League for Human Rights, and the Canada-Israel Committee. Of special interest are files concerning Premier Kosygin's visit to Canada and the issue of Soviet Jewry, 1971; the controversy surrounding the play, "Man in the Glass Booth", 1972; and relations between B'nai Brith Canada and the Canadian-Jewish Congress over the League for Human Rights and the Joint Community Relations Committee. This material is located on microfilm reels M-8289 and 8290.

Morris, William, 1934- : William Morris, community leader, was born in Hamilton and educated at MacMaster University. He graduated from Osgoode Hall in 1960. He has been associated with B'nai Brith Canada in a variety of capacities including National President, 1975-1976, and National Chairman, 1975-1977. As National Vice-Chairman of the Canada-Israel Committee, of which B'nai Brith Canada is a partner, he played a key role in many of the major issues of the day which affected Canada-Israel relations. William Morris was Chairman of the B'nai Brith Foundation of Canada, 1985-1986, and Vice-President of B'nai Brith International, 1982-1986.
