Fonds consists of six documents pertaining to Abraham Joseph, including one document signed by Queen Victoria and one, in horizontal storage, signed by King Leopold I of Belgium, container 4; five documents pertaining to Andrew C. Joseph, 1886-1905; two documents pertaining to [Henry] Blaustein, 1824, 1895; two documents pertaining to the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, Montreal, 1886, 1887. There are also two photographic reproductions in horizontal storage pertaining to Rabbi Abraham de Sola's 1872 visit to Washington, D.C., container 2, and the Mrs. Meldola de Sola scroll commemorating the death of her husband in 1918, container 3.

Fonds also include additional documents consisting of "Bikkurim" 1946; Mrs. Andrew Joseph autograph album; program of the 5th Women's Community Conference; Montefiore Joseph daily diaries; Raphael de Sola correspondence; Rosette Joseph diary of a trip to Europe and Israel and "RCA Victor family news" 1948.

Blaustein, Henry, 1917-2011 : E. Henry Blaustein was born and educated in Montreal where he attended Sir George Williams (now Concordia) University. He served in the R.C.A.F. during World War II from 1941 to 1945. His family have been members of Shearith Israel synagogue for over one hundred years while his wife's family has been actively involved with the same synagogue for over two hundred years. E. Henry Blaustein has served the congregation as officiating parnass and as its vice-president.

Received in 1981 and in 1992 from E. Henry and Esther I. Blaustein of Montreal, Que.
Scrolls relating to the 1872 visit to Washington and Mrs. Mendola de Sola were photographed in 1992.
