Fonds consists of correspondence primarily concerning Rous' Saskatoon interests, in particular his real estate activities and those of Rous Brothers, and files concerning the Canadian Public Booth Company Limited, J.D. Clark Billiard Company of Winnipeg, Saunders and Erskine Company of Saskatoon and Vit-O-Net Corporation of Chicago, 1910-1932. The fonds includes correspondence, trade literature and other material relating to Rous' Ottawa dealership with Kelvinator of Canada, with material on a number of refrigerator manufacturers, 1924-1932.

Rous, Milton E : Milton E. Rous, businessman, was initially a partner in the Saskatoon firm of Rous Brothers, manufacturers' agents who also dealt in real estate. In 1914 he moved to Ontario, where he worked as a salesman for Lowe-Martin Company. In 1924 he became the Ottawa dealer for Kelvinator of Canada Limited, in which capacity he sold Kelvinator Electric Refrigerators, Nizer Corporation commercial refrigeration units and Williams Oil-O-Matic oil burners, along with some independent Canadian lines of refrigerators. He ended his connection with Kelvinator in 1929.
