Fonds consists of the first old age pension cheque issued in Canada, 30 September 1927, which was drawn in favour of William Henry Derby of Alberni, B.C., original, 1 page; a letter, 21 April 1957, from A.W. Neil to Prime Minister St. Laurent, photocopy, 2 pages; and a letter, 20 June 1957, from Prime Minister St. Laurent to the Dominion Archivist, transcript, 2 pages.
