Fonds consists of letterbooks, 1869-1906, and account books, 1863-1872. The letters deal with the Hamilton Brothers Mill, municipal and church business, Brock's private land transactions, and family matters, 15 cm; and correspondence including letters written by Eugene Skinner, founder of Eugene City, Oregon, to his sister Phoebe, mother of Stuart Brock, photocopy, 1860, 14 pages.

Brock, Stuart, 1843-1906 : Having started as a book-keeper at the Hamilton Brothers Mill in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Stuart Brock eventually acquired the business himself. He participated in municipal affairs, serving as treasurer of the village for a period of time. He was also active in Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
