The fonds also contains photographic portraits of John and Amelia Duggan and a photograph of the grave of John Duggan, Menton, France.Provenance:Biography/Administrative history:Duggan, John, 1817-1875 : John Duggan was born in 1817, probably in Toronto. He was received as a student at Osgoode Hall in 1835 and was called to the bar in 1840 after studying with his brother George Duggan. He practised law in Toronto with several different partners and in 1858 was made Queen's Counsel. Between 1854 and 1856, he was an alderman of the city of Toronto.
