Sutherland, William Ross, 1823-1898 : Reverend William Ross Sutherland, 1823-98, a native of Scotland, was ordained pastor of Knox Church in Ekfrid Township, Middlesex County, Ontario in 1848. He had three children by his first wife, Elizabeth McBean, and thirteen by his second wife, Mary Ann Ross. He was minister of Knox Church in Middlesex County for over thirty-five years.
