The fonds consists of the records of Wilmot Township (in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia), including a register of families, births, marriages, and deaths, 1749-1894; a record of livestock ear-marks, 1786-1893; and records of the General Sessions of the Peace, 1839-1842.

The register (also known as the Wilmot Township Book) is arranged in the following order:
(1) Register of families, births, marriages and deaths, 1749-1894. (Reel image 239 to 335.)
(2) Record of livestock ear marks, 1847-1893. (Reel image 336 to 351).
