Adams Furniture Company of Toronto : The C.F. Adams Company was listed in the 1895 Toronto city directory. By the 1935 listing, it was known as the Adams Furniture Co. of Toronto Ltd., and had 4 stores in Toronto. The company's name changed to Woodhouse Furniture Limited late in the 1970s, some years after having been taken over by the latter firm.
