Collection consists of genealogical notes, charts, copies of baptismal certificates, correspondence, and biographical sketches of members of the Lemieux family of St. Gervais, Quebec, and Fenelon Falls, Ont. covering the years 1616 to 1983. Photocopies, 71 pages.

Lemieux (family) : Pierre Lemieux (b. 1616) was born in Rouen, Normandy and immigrated to Canada in 1643. In 1647, he married Marie Bénard and they had four sons and three daughters. He received property at Beauport in 1649 and in the Lower Town of Quebec in 1659.

Pierre Philias (Felix) Lemieux (1867-1943) left St. Gervais, Que. in 1883 to work in the United States. He returned to Canada in 1896 and settled in Fenelon Falls, Ont. where he married Louisa Lavereau (1877-1955) in 1897. They subsequently had four sons and four daughters.
