Jones, Joseph, 1785-1859 (family) : Joseph Jones (1785-1859), son of George (1748-1828) and Susannah Cook (1750-1834), married Joan Hoddinott (1787-1827) in 1805. The issue of this marriage was ten children. Joseph, with most of his children, emigrated from England to Canada in 1832. In 1842, they purchased land in Pickering Township.

Some brothers and sisters also immigrated to Canada.
