Rice, F.W, fl. 1842-1854 : F. W. Rice, Lord Dynevor and vicar of Fairford of Gloucestershire, was born 10 May 1804 and succeeded his cousin as 5th Baron on 7 October 1869. Rice married twice, the first time on 3 February 1830 to Harriet-Ives, daughter of D. Raymond Barker, and they had two children. Rice's first wife died 22 July 1854. His second marriage was to Eliza-Amelia, eldest daughter of the late Rev. H. Carnegie Knox, rector of Lechdale on 18 November 1856, and they had three children. Rice died 3 August 1878.

Few details are known of Rice's life aside from his lineage. He was a minister of religion of the Church of England and spent some of his life at Red River, Manitoba between the years of 1842 and 1854.
