Fonds consists of correspondence and reports from the Governor of New York to the Committee of Trade and Plantations including copies of agreements with the Iroquois, intercepted French letters, intelligence obtained from prisoners, and journals of military commanders. The chief subjects are the Leister rebellion, relations with the Iroquois, French and Indian raids, military preparations and attacks on Canada and Acadia, transcript, 1689-1697, 2.5 cm. Also included are contemporary copies of reports and resolutions on matters connected with the trade of the Royal African Company, 1707-1712, 5 cm.
