Description:

The emphasis in this film is on the use of stainless steel in the transport and shipping fields. Live action footage, charts, graphs, stills, animation and stock footage are all used to illustrate the many areas where stainless steel is used, such as railways, trucking, container shipment, tank storage, etc. Production is shown at the Tracy, Québec mill of Atlas Steel (a division of Rio-Algom). There are also laboratory experiments, and interviews - with Robert M. Shand, General Manager of Avis Transport of Canada, and J. Ernest Buller, Executive Vice-President of Murray Hill Limousine Service, Montreal. Both men praise stainless steel for its usefulness in their businesses. <28mn>
