Description:

Five commercials which encourage consumers to "look for the label" which certifies that the product, using chromium plating on a nickel base, meets British standards. Each commercial concentrates on a specific product group: household appliances, "fancy goods" (i.e. candelabras, brush and comb sets, etc.), motor car parts, and bathroom fittings. <16mm print - 10s each>. The fifth commercial is not product-specific, but generally appears to be directed at women. <35mm print - 45s>

1. Dated from Kodak stock edge code.~2. "Film Graphics" appears on the leader of the 35mm rolls, and may be the production company, but it is not formally credited on the print. Film Graphics, Inc., an American company, often produced films for Inco. There is no record of a British subsidiary.~3. Sponsor information from documentation received in original can.
