Fonds consists of a deed of gift of the Seigniory of St. Gilles from Alexander Fraser to his grandson Walter Davidson, 1791, pp. 1-12; report of the Solicitor General on Arthur Davidson's petition to render foi et hommage for St. Gilles on behalf of his son, a minor, pp. 13-19; copy of the deed of gift, 1791, pp. 20-29; record of the marriage of John Fraser and Anne Smith, 1799, pp. 30-32; and a deed of sale between Charlotte Chandler and Claude Dénéchau, 1810, pp. 33-44.

Fraser, Alexander, ca. 1729-1799 : Alexander Fraser was an officer of the 78th Regiment, Fraser's Highlanders, who settled in Quebec. He acquired the seigniories of Beauchamp, Vitré and St. Gilles.
