Fonds consists of letters to Henry Hope from John Boddington concerning transportation to Quebec, 1783, 3 pages; from George Benson concerning military affairs, 1785, 2 pages; and from Stephen Delancey concerning settlement of townships, 1786, 1 page; together with draft orders to the captain of the Mercury, 1785, 4 pages; updated memorandum and accounts, 3 pages; and a statement of payments made to Mr. Taylor, 1 page. Also included are Henry Hope's will, photocopy, 1779, 2 pages; and the petition of his widow, Sarah Hope to the Court of Probate at Quebec concerning the proving of it, photocopy, 1789, 3 pages.
