Fonds consists of letters to Thomas Hooper from W. Patterson, P. Callbeck, Robert Grey and other officials of Prince Edward Island concerning land matters, elections and court cases, 1786-1802, 17 pages; bills, 1788 and 1789-1790, 2 pages; and a bond of Gov. Walter Patterson promising Thomas Hooper and William Schureman a grant or a lease of 1250 acres in lot 26, 1782, 2 pages.

Hooper, Thomas, fl. 1793 : Thomas Hooper, a Loyalist of the Port Roseway Associates, moved from Shelburne, N.S. to the Island of St. John in about 1783. On the island, he engaged in large-scale agriculture and acted as an agent for the promotion of settlement.
