McKenzie, Charles, 1776-1855 : Charles McKenzie (1776-1855), fur trader, joined the Hudson's Bay North West Company in 1803 and remained with the Hudson's Bay Company after the union in 1821 until retirement in 1854. His son Hector Aeneas McKenzie (fl. 1839-1850) joined the Hudson's Bay Company about 1839 and in 1850 accompanied the second expedition of John Rae in search of Sir John Franklin. He later settled at Red River and operated a small business.

McKenzie, Hector Aeneas, fl. 1839-1850 : Fur Trader; Hector Aeneas McKenzie (fl. 1839-1850), son of Charles McKenzie, joined the Hudson's Bay Company about 1839 and in 1850 accompanied the second expedition of John Rae in search of Sir John Franklin.
