Ottawa Civic Employees' Association : The Ottawa Civic Employees' Association was founded in November 1933 in order to advance "the working conditions and welfare of the Civic Employees". An affiliate of the Ottawa Allied Trades and Labour Association (T.L.C.), its membership consisted of employees of the Ottawa Fire Department, Incinerator Department, Police Department, City Hall and the Civic Hospital as well as City Engineers and members of the Ottawa Municipal Services Association and Civic Employees' Federal Union, No. 15.
