Fonds consists of constitutions, 1965, 1971, 20 cm, volume 1; minutes of annual and council meetings, 1902-1973, 20 cm, volume 1; correspondence relating to membership, annual meetings, and other associations, 1953-1972, 37.5 cm, volumes 2-3; programmes of annual meetings, 1931-1972, 1.3 cm, volume 3; bound volume containing income and expenditures and membership payments, 1.3 cm, volume 3. The fonds also contains one photographic portrait of Dr. A. W. Harris, D.V.S.

Central Canada Veterinary Association : The Central Canada Veterinary Association was formed by Veterinary Surgeons of Ottawa, who believed that such an association was necessary to elevate the veterinary profession, advance the science of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and protect its members. Only veterinarians who graduated from a Veterinary College or Faculty recognized by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association were eligible for membership. The association holds annual meetings, which bring together veterinarians to discuss papers presented in veterinary science.
