Brown of Social and Military Lodge, and between Morrison and the Grand Lodge, n.d., 1855-ca. 1857, 20 pages; and business papers including letters to and from Morrison relating to his legal practice and personal business, bills and receipts, a household inventory, and documents relating to a sale of

Morrison, Murdoch, 1815-1865 : Murdoch Morrison was a Montreal advocate. Little is known of him apart from the information revealed by these papers. His advocate's commission was dated 14 November 1838, and the bond for his licence to marry Martha Stansfeld of Montreal was dated 13 March 1839. In 1855, he was master of the St. Lawrence Lodge, No. 923, of Free and Accepted Masons.
