Fonds consists of a journal kept by Thomas Dawson from 6 February to 13 July 1841 describing part of a sealing voyage of the JOSEPH GREEN from Peterhead, Scotland. Dawson describes the revels before departure, a visit to Lerwick, Shetland, and the events and his activities during the voyage. A one-page list of his expenses is also included. This material is located on microfilm reel A-1409.
