Collection consists of a letter from John Eden congratulating Wetherall on his victory at St. Charles and correspondence concerning the legality of holding Patriot prisoners under martial law, photocopy, 1838. The collection also includes notes on the military careers of Sir Frederick Augustus Wetherall, of a candelabra presented to Sir George Augustus Wetherall, originals, 2 pages, photocopies, 15 pages, transcripts, 2 pages.

The fonds also contains a photograph of a candelabra presented to Sir George Augustus Wetherall by the Loyalists of Montreal.

Wetherall, George Augustus, 1798-1868 : Sir George Augustus Wetherall was commander at Montreal in 1837. He defeated the rebels at St. Charles and took part in the victory of St. Eustache.
