Forbes, whose inventions the firm of Macdonnell and Foster was involved in selling; a few letters concerning applications for copyright and trademark; and a few letters concerning land transactions.

Macdonnell and Foster (Firm) : The firm of Macdonnell and Foster, Windsor, was owned and run by Samuel Smith Macdonnell, a lawyer and Frederick L. Foster, a provincial land surveyor. These two men acted as agents for persons applying for patents on inventions.
