Crow's Nest Coal and Railway Company : The Crow's Nest Pass, a route through the Rocky Mountains south of Crow's Nest Mountain, was first noted in 1858 by Captain Blakiston of the Palliser expedition. In 1898, the Canadian Pacific Railway built a branch line through the pass.
